If I Met Paul McCartney
If I ever got the chance to meet Paul, I'd be thrilled. I don't know how that'd happen..maybe at a concert but here's what would happen...Fantasy = I'd pull a Joey Tribbani and be all like "Hey Paul. How you doin?". Act all smooth. Reality = I'd totally freak out and act like a 9 year old. What would you do if you ever met Paul? Or Ringo? Too bad George has passed cuz I'd really like to have met him too.

George Sings To The Side
While watching the music video to This Boy, today I noticed George sings to the side-what i mean by this is his mouth when he sings opens to the side and he flashes he wonderful yet crooked set of teeth. I've kinda noticed this before but I've never really payed much attention to it nor did i necessarily care but for some reason today it just fascinated me. Then I tried singing to the side myself. But no one needs to know that. tee hee. It looks kinda southern when he does that. Then again, who was his role model? Carl Perkins.

Paul Is A Master Of Disguise
I have come to see that Paul is a master of disguise with his voice. He can make himself sound very sweet and soft or loud and southern. Now there are songs that display his many voices. He does have a original voice that you can hear in I Saw Her Standing There, All My Loving, Can't Buy Me Love and such songs. Then he has this very soft and sweet voice that you hear in Here There And Everywhere, And I Love Her, I Will and such songs. Then he has this scratchy and yell- type of voice that you hear in I'm Down, Long Tall Sally, the back up vocals of Please Mister Postman, the back up vocals of Money (Thats What I Want) and such songs. And then there's a loud and well...kind of old sounding and southern voice of his that you hear in Get Back, Let It Be, Don't Let Me Down, I've Got A Feeling and such songs. You'd most likely hear the last type in the older songs. So there's my talk on Paul's abilitly to disguise his voice. Also, I think John can do it aswell.

Obama Looks Like George!
I don't know if anyone else comes to the same conclusion but you gotta admit Obama looks kinda like George which is just down right creepy! Presidents are not supposed to look like Beatles! Especially not Obama! (I'm not a fan of his). Just thought i'd put that out there. This should get a good laugh..

Happy Birthday Ringo!
Happy birthday Ringo! And because I'm so lazy and really dont care to write a long emotional piece on why Ringo kicks butt, I'll just give you a nice big picture. Sound nice?

Role Playing
Everyone views the beatles differently. There's the people who just refer to them as just some band they remembered from the 60's. Then there's people who think of them as just a band. Then there's people who like them very much but still aren't comfortable caling them by their first names. Then there's the beatle freaks. Who know everything and anything about them. Who talk about them all the time, mainly only listen to their music, have their albums, posters, merchandise (i'm talking shirts, books, hats, pencils, pens, calenders, board games, note books, stuffed toys, magnets, stickers, mugs, bags, ext.). I mean its one thing to go from Paul McCartney to Paul but its another thing to go from Paul to Paulie. I think all my fellow beatle obsessors know what i'm talking about, right? And the thing is-we cant really help our selves! So what i'm getting at here, is you start to develop your own view of the beatles-what roles they play to you. For instance, some people view John as maybe a brother figure to them or maybe Ringo as a fatherly figure. I'd like to share what role the beatles play to me. Starting with George, my favourite. To me he's a boyfriend figure. Some one i'd have romance with. My second favourite, Paul. He used to be my favourite and used to be a boyfriend figure but now he's more of a brotherly figure to me. Or sometimes a really close friend. Now John, my third favourite. I never could really figure out how i felt about John. But i think now he plays a fatherly role to me. I think what influences that is his strong build and such. And that leader quality that he had. And last but not least, Ringo. Now this is hard because I dont give Ringo much thought (forgive me). But if i had to chose, i'd say Ringo is like a friend. Nothing more. Like those people you occasionally carry a conversation with and those people who you just say hi to when you see them. That's what Ringo would be. Now that this is out there, i'd like to see the roles that the beatles play to you! so if you'd like, leave a comment telling me! Wow, this is getting longer than expected so, Gut Yor! (that's good bye in Yiddish. I've been learning Yiddish lately).
